I'm sorry!

Posted by Firefreezer - August 25th, 2011

Hey guys,

I'm very sorry because I didn't work on my new project for a long time now and I still don't know how I will finish it. I should never have told anyone that I'm working on a new project but I did it and now I'm an asshole. You can hate me for that, it's justified.

I just uploaded a little loop with some piano chords, I hope you like it. =)

PS: If you want me to upload an unfinished version of my project, just tell me. If there are enough people who want it, I will do so.

Dude! Jeez! Calm down! No one is hating on you about the lack of a finished project!

Also, my old account is empty because my dad started following my old one around, and someone commented on one of my news posts rather innappropriately. Despite my anonymous-ness, he wanted me to delete it, and didn't believe that I had the power to delete it myself, so I just emptied it out.

Seriously though, your project is interesting, and I am a patient person. I haven't leaked anything, I swear. Been months since you gave me that link. No one is rushing you to finish it. If I find time, I may even help out and get it finished so you'll stop thinking everyone's mad at you. Do not release until it's final.

It's kind of like the links I shared with a few people about the Tankmen game, I am not apologizing for working nearly a year on it, no one seems to be complaining about it, and I don't feel like an asshole for it.

Wow! That reply really helped me a lot. Thank you! =)
I think I have to keep it a secret if I'm working on something new and just tell it people I really trust. I don't know if you already read it but Doumaaa and me are planning to work on the piano chords stuff and make an extended version out of it with vocals and his guitar recordings.
But *shhh* I never told you about it! ;-)
We just chatted and talked a lot about it. He's such a great partner to do music with!

Cheers!

Never told me about what now? Wink.
In all other seriousness...
I never knew of Doumaaa's stuff til I started looking at your other music after "What's Next?" last year, like "Listen to the Silence." I'm surprised you and him didn't make an extended version of that too. And that no one messed with "Jammin On" (by Doumaaa) yet. Check that out if you haven't already. Let me know if you do end up needing some help on "New Day"

Yes, I know "Jammin On" and I really love it. (I wrote the first review) ;)

I already tried to make something out of it, but I think I ended up, trying to find the perfect speed for it. It tourned out, that the speed of this song changes a few times while it's playing so it was impossible for me to work with it.
I would have to make a keyframed speed-timeline. But that would be a mess...

Right now I'm in my own appartment (not on the weekends) because the way to work is so much shorter. I don't have my pc there because I don't have internet atm but in a month or so I will have internet too and then I will put my PC in the appartment. That's the plan. Btw: Today I've talked with Doumaaa about the extended version. I want him to decice which melody he likes more for the continuation of the song but he wants ME to decide.... We're just too considerate to each other! : D
(I made 2 proposals for him)
I think I will put both melodies into the song because they both kinda match.

Greets!
